4x4 Off-Road Garapua
Our tour to Garapuá is made with jeeps, giving you the sensation of an off-road trip as we drive down dirt and sand trails and cross small streams. As we make our way to Garapuá beach, you'll be moving through the middle of the Atlantic forest, where it´s possible to see flora such as dende, piacava, bromeliads, orchids and other native species.
Besides visiting the Bay of Garapuá, the tour includes a stop at the natural pools for snorkeling. Depending on the tide timetable, this activitiy lasts for about 1.5 hours.
At beach bar, you can taste the local cuisine ot enjoy a beer or an ice-cold coconut. Garapuá is one of the best and preserved beaches of Morro de Sao Paulo.
The tour lasts an average of six hours, departing at 10 am and returning at 5 pm.
10:00 am: departure from second beach (Morro de São Paulo)
5:00 pm: return to the second beach (Morro de São Paulo)
Participant Guidelines
- Garapuá restaurants do not accept credit cards, so it´s better bring cash;
- Bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, sandals, cameras and everything that you will need for a day at the beach;
- If you prefer, you can bring your own snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and fins);
- The natural pools of Garapuá depend of the tide's timetable, so when you book this trip, ask about the tides and the chance to snorkel.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
24 hours advanced notice must be given in the case of cancellations. In order for a tour to be rescheduled, an administrative payment fee of R $10 per person is required, as well as 24 hours advanced notice and new confirmation of available dates and departure times.
Tours may be cancelled on our side due to bad weather, mechanical problems, or lacking the minimum number of paying participants.
Refunds
A 20% fee will be deducted from all refunds. Refunds will not be given in the case of no-shows.
