Caring For The Customer


The "caring for the customer" rating is an aggregate score for the five parameters we survey (Service of Staff, Quality of Information, Overall Experience, Safety/Organization and Overall Impression/ Value for money). There must be a minimum of 3 traveller ratings we can average before we display a rating for the tour. We also age traveller ratings and discard any that are over twelve months old.

I bought the tickets in advance to avoid the line in Salvador. But I had to wait in the line and show my tickets anyways in order to receive a hand-written receipt with which I was allowed to board.
So here's my recommendation: don't book in advance, it doesn't facilitate anything.

Extreme need for signs, structured lines and more clearly communicated information about Catamaran departure times. Waiting area was extremely chaotic

There was no information about the trip (in Portuguese or English). We ended up having to work out what was happening when we arrived at a dockside and a bus waited for us. We had no idea how long the bus would take or what was happening! When we arrived at the dock for the 2nd catamaran, there was nobody to tell us where to go. My husband ended up walking onto a catamaran and everyone followed. They needed someone there telling you what was happening. More information definitely needs to be provided on the actual catamaran itself. A 2 hour trip took 4 hours in the end, which I now understand was due to poor weather, but we needed to know at the time in English!! The flight back was a far better option!!
