Guaiamu is a mangrove-dwelling blue crab typical of northeastern Brazil and Vila Guaiamú is a coconut farm, which today is a protected area for this species of crab. Aside from the coconut plantation, there is a considerable area of rainforest, and there is still plenty of room for the hotel. The rooms, distributed throughout a vast garden, are sometimes so far from each other that there seems to be no neighbors. It's a very quiet place, however it is very close to the village and Second Beach. In less than a 15 minute walk, you will be in the most important places of the village and also on the neighboring beaches. The rooms are very comfortable, and the common area is interestingly decorated, offering a naturalistic touch.
