Pousada Villa das Pedras
Address: 2nd Beach, Morro de São Paulo, Morro de Sao Paulo view mapThe Pousada Villa das Pedras calls everyone's attention both for its location, which is facing the Sea of Second Beach, as well as the beauty of its internal ambiences. From his deck located a few metres from the sea, where he chairs and the pool are, you can see every move in the busiest beach on the island.
It is one of the most popular pousadas of Morro de Sao Paulo and deserves this reputation, since it has a beautiful infrastructure and great service. Every area of the pousada offers views of the sea or the garden.
Among the facilities of the hotel are the restaurant with beach service and free wi-fi in public areas.
Javan Souza, 28 years, is a native of Gamboa or, as he defines himself, "is local". He has served seven years in Villa das Pedras Pousada as supervisor of reserves and was trained by the technical course in Tourism and Hospitality held at the Federal Center of Technological Education (CEFET) of Valença. He studied English for two years and plans to further enhance the language, including plans to spend a season in the United States to study.
Even though he works in the office, he maintains direct contact with the public and usually walks around the hotel to find out how guests are doing. He is responsible for the conduct of all reservations: e-mail accounts, negotiating with travel agencies, and he always wishes to know the opinions of the guests. In fact, he says that sometimes when they arrive, guests ask to know who Javan is, the one who carried out the reserves. This request is due to the great treatment he provides to guests.
Always kind and polite, he answers all questions concerning to the pousada and the destination. In his opinion, one of the best things about Villa das Pedras is in the interaction with the guests. The attention with the customers, from the moment of arrival, is essential and increases the level of guest satisfaction, according to surveys undertaken by the hotel.
The thing he most likes in Morro de Sao Paulo is the natural beauty of the place, as the natural pools and the Fourth Beach. In his free time he enjoys playing sports but for the moment, his biggest hobby is the samba band that plays in with friends called "Nosso Jeito".
