Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

All organic waste produced in the hotel, like the restaurant, gardening and other wastes, are processed in order to obtain natural fertilizers. The waste processor used can also handle hard decomposing residues, like branches and coconut palm leaves. The natural fertilizer obtained is used in the coconut palm plantations, which are the source of all coconuts consumed and commercialized by the hotel.

The next step is to process all organic waste produced by the surrounding hotels. Some of these hotels have already taken part in the initiative, and the projection is to expand it even more. Also, they intend to recycle a great amount of inorganic waste in a near future.
