Weather in Morro de Sao Paulo

The weather in Morro de Sao Paulo is pleasant during most of the year. Summers are hot, but the sea breeze is an almost constant relief and temperatures generally stay within 20ºC - 30ºC (68ºF - 86ºF). The rainy season, or winter, occurs from May through July. It still rains until September, but much less. The average temperature in Morro de Sao Paulo during winter is 24°C, although sometimes as low as 20°C. Summer starts in October through to March, with little rain and average temperatures of 26°C and peaks of 30°C.

Regarding prices, high-season is January and February, when hotel fares are twice that of the rest of the year. There are a few periods, such as New Years's and the week during Carnaval, in which guesthouses only accept reservations for four or five nights, usually costing up to ten times the high season prices. Though the celebrations are completely worth it!
