This is the normal transport to Morro de São Paulo if you are in Salvador (Bahia). It is cheaper than the air-taxi, but of course, not as fast. But it is always better than trying to go via Valença.

Itinerary

From the Terminal Marítimo do Mercado Modelo to Morro de São Paulo, by open sea.
In good water, the trip takes two hours, but in case of bad weather, the trip can take up to four hours.

- Departure time from Salvador: 9:00 am, 12:00 pm*, 2:00 pm
- Departure time from Morro de São Paulo: 8:00 am*, 11:30 am, 4:00 pm.

* Schedule available from 01/12/09, Monday to Friday (except weekends and holidays).

Ticket valid only for the chosen departure time and itinerary!

Cancellation policy

Cancellations and changes must be made at least 48 hours before departure.

Children Policy

Children, up to 5 years of age, travel for free when they are with an adult, but they need to be added on the booking, otherwise they are not allowed to board.

Children count towards the total boat capacity, regardless of how young they are.

You need to choose the Itinerary - Salvador to Morro or Morro to Salvador - and the Departure Time (see the options above) on the "special request" field on the booking.
The ticket is valid to board only on the choosen option.
