The only feature that classifies the Portaló as mid-range is its price. The comfort level of the bungalows and the facilities of the hotel are top end. Portaló is encrusted on the hill facing Porto de Cima Beach, close to the pier. The bungalows offer an excellent view of the ocean and of the bay to the north of the island. The beach in front of the hotel is not the best for swimming - too rocky - but after a 15-minute walk you are on Gamboa or First Beach. They have different types of bungalows: some offer Jacuzzis, and some are special for families, which accommodate up to six people. The facilities are excellent, with a pool, sauna, restaurant, poolside bar, and many other features.

Cancellations can be requested until 32 days before check-in.

In case of booking rescheduling in a period of one year, the value paid can be used without charges (paying the difference of rates' adjustments, if there is any)
In case of refunds, a 20% fee will be charged

For cancellation requested in less than 32 days before check-in and No-shows: the total value of the booking will be charged

This cancellation policy does not apply for holidays and special packages.

Late check-out policy:

Late check is subject to availability and directed by factors like holidays and low and high tourist season.

Children policy:

Free accommodation will be provided for one child up to 5 years old, staying in the parents' room.
